Commitment to achieving Net Zero

Kiesta Fabrics & Interiors Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040, in line with the NHS Supply Chain Net Zero Roadmap and PPN 06/21 guidance.

Additional Details:

Kiesta Fabrics & Interiors Ltd will establish its full baseline for Scope 1, Scope 2, and the five required Scope 3 categories during Q1 2026 (January–March). While baseline data is being collected, Kiesta continues to monitor Scope 2 energy consumption and Scope 3 logistics data quarterly. The complete verified baseline will be published in the 2026 CRP update and used for future annual reporting.

Emissions Reduction Targets

In order to achieve Net Zero by 2040, Kiesta Fabrics & Interiors Ltd has adopted the following targets:

  • 40% reduction in total emissions by 2030 (vs 2025 baseline)

  • 100% renewable electricity by 2026

  • Full electric fleet by 2030

  • Net Zero operations by 2040

Progress will be tracked quarterly through energy usage and freight metrics, with public updates annually.

Carbon Reduction Projects

Completed / ongoing initiatives:

  • Sea freight as standard logistics route (minimising air freight emissions)

  • LED energy-saving lighting in office and warehouse facilities

  • Flexible remote working policy to reduce commuting emissions

  • Automated digital systems to minimise paper use and business travel

Planned initiatives (2025–2030):

  • Supplier sustainability reporting (2026)

  • Solar power feasibility study for warehouse operations (2026)

  • Electric vehicle fleet introduction (2030)

  • Supplier environmental audits (annual, from 2026)

Declaration and Sign-Off

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance.

It reflects Kiesta Fabrics & Interiors Ltd’s current actions and plans to achieve Net Zero by 2040.
